  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The wisest thing I ever saw come out of POF was "If you have a pet snake, you aren't to be trusted".

While you would be an exception to this rule, just be aware many people subconsciously follow this rule lol

Mr. Moe I don't know if you'll appreciate this or not, but I used to be in the same shoes. I used to look at the impossible and just give up, but I decided I would change my mindset. Because we all know that there's no such thing as possible when it comes to what we can endure and the changes we can make. As long as I kept a poor mentality, I would stay stuck in the mud because I was already defeated. But when I started changing the way I thought, had more confidence in myself, trusted that the Creator of the universe could see past my issues and change my life in an instant, and my panic attacks started to go away.

Start changing the way you think. God gave you the tools to change your own life and left you in charge of the details. As long as you think negatively and live as if you're already beaten and washed up, nothing will change.
