  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My church played this in church today twice, it was amazing.... i sang from my heart, the dude in front of me afterwards said, wow you really rocked that....

I need to do some writing, also I need to work on learning my guitar, also I need to watch about 30+ movies, oh and catch up on about 8 TV series, and I need to work on my art skills to see if they are still there somewhere.

I think instead I will go get ready for going to the store and ignore all of it.

I've been watching Goosebumps on Netflix lately. It's a show I've been very curious about as a child but rarely had the chance to watch a full episode.

So much nostalgia it hurts.

There was a TV show based on the books back in the late 1990's. The film was released in 2015 now that many of the kids who read the books during its heyday now have kids of their own.

Then again, my mother didn't monitor my TV habits so this whole thing was based on the honor system.

Yeah I wasn't allowed to watch Dragon Ball Z and the Power Rangers too. Although my Dad liked the Simpson's so that was ok. Crass comedy was generally fine. Lol.

My parents didn't really monitor my TV habits either, although I guess I just listened to them anyways lol.

Goosebumps, I used to watch it so much. That and "Are you Afraid of the Dark?"... I got thrills from both of them.

The opening scene for both shows used to freak me out, especially Goosebumps when the lady on the sign would have the G go over her and her face would turn into a frown... used to terrify me.
