  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

March is good as it won't be too hot then--just ensure you have a working smartphone, know 7/11 has free wifi and that Google maps works for the subways--get a Suica card and load it with money. Have fun and enjoy it!

Ah! I'd love that, we'd have fun. But we're going to be ships passing in the night this time. Japan has been a very long time coming.

Hold the thought though, because Korea is on my list. I want to cover most of Asia. So if you go again drop me a PM and we'll crack on with it.

OMM: I'm trying to get my homework done before tonight. Things are going really well with the girl I like. I left a whole bag of Reeses hearts on her door this morning and she looked thrilled.

Yay, I think this is actually the first Valentine's day that I haven't been single. Lol

Had to go to work really early this morning, even though it was my day off. I had won a sales competition and as a reward, they wanted me to sit in on the management conference call with all the managers and the marker manager-- to explain my super sales techniques... I had nothing other than dressing above the code and wearing high end glasses, so I pretty much winged it. They liked my answers and for the second time, I impressed the market manager, and for the second time, he emphasized to everyone present that he was impressed because I'm really new at this... I should have known better than to feel good about myself for ten bloody minutes.

Home for five minutes and I can't wait for today to be over.

It is a bottle of coke. I don't drink alcohol so I (used to) order a coke to drink when at the bar.

Today is Extraterrestrial Culture Day as well as St. Valentine's Day. Because the latter means nothing to me as a single guy, I decided to celebrate the former by watching E.T. once I got home from work. It's really not that good of a movie though from what I've watched thusfar.
