  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So, my whole fantasy football season comes to this. It all comes down to Dez Bryant. If he has a big game, then I'm once again the champion! The playoffs have been SO close. I thought I lost last week, but had a come-from-behind win.

Im against V-day because it gives most people an excuse to ignore their SO and make it "okay" as long as they go all out on V-day.

I do have to admit..... Im a sell out for those candy hearts with writing on them though...... some people call them chalk.... I say.... yummy, yummy chalk.



I could eat them til there is no putting the inner fat boy back in the cage.

The school year starts here in January, so we'll probably only see Valentine's Day things once the Back to School campaigns are over -those started a couple of days before Christmas.

@James of Arc You have given me a whole new view on Valentines Day. Now I don't find it as some annoying holiday for the singles! Deep down though, I just want a guy to tell me he likes me and gives me a box of chocolates. Is that too much to ask for? Pfft.

Let me get this straight -- its been cold ALL MONTH but on Christmas and the 26th its in the 70's, and now it decides to drop back down in the 40's?! So uncool.

Actually, that's the dictionary definition of being cool yeah here we had over a foot of snow on the ground, then over Christmas weekend it was in the 50s and melted most of it.
