I'm going to get into boxing and get into an extreme fitness routine

2017 I want to become strong, a fighter, and further embrace and stand up for the principals of my faith

Before becoming a fighter......... you must first listen to Mr Miyagi. "Karate, here. Karate, here. Karate.... never here.... understand?"

Im sure you already know..... but just don't forget that standing up for something doesn't always have to mean swinging of a fist. I think people these days are far to eager to "fight for what they believe" and take a stand.... when what they believe wasn't even being challenged.

Mr Miyagi is awesome!

For sure, I agree. A lot of people these days who are fighting for what they believe, instead fight for anger and hate in their heart, and their principals are just a mere masquerade to justify their actions.

One should only resort to violence as a last resort, or in self-defense or pre-emptive strike.

In these times where angry and violent people are becoming a multitude, it pays to know how to defend yourself, your family or even others in situations.

Can't help but think about the power of words especially during this day.
One of my nephews was speaking negatively about Christmas and was hurting the feelings of my other nephew.

In a way, words are a battle all on their own and depends on the situation.

When one person tells you how much of a piece of crap you are, it's easy to brush it off and think nothing of it afterwards. When more and more people talk trash about you, it just adds more weight upon you like bricks. Eventually you start to think, "Maybe there's truth to it..."

While sticks and stones leave physical scars, words can leave mental scars that will leave you unrecognizable. You'll find a lot of adults who are messed up from constant emotional abuse during their most impressionable years as children.

It's very tragic.

You're right about that. Very tragic, indeed. What you describe in the first paragraph is influence, I do believe, and that could be from the deceiver.

I know what you mean though. I also grew up with verbal abuse as a main part of my life, but there was always a light in that darkness

I guess that's what I've been learning through my walk with God. Even with words there's a side to choose.

Spend Christmas with believers, is the lesson I've learned today, not unbelievers and/or people who don't take Christianity seriously. Sigh... I should have went to church.

I'm sorry I know it isn't easy, but for now there's plenty of believers here!

Did you consider I also want to do boxing because it interests me as a physical workout activity?

and no thanks, I'm not a Christian, and this world is never safe. It's in a constant struggle between good and evil. The minute you forget this, you've become too accustomed to worldly benefits and pleasures.

From Super Bowl to probably not even making the playoffs. Who's to fault for this? Kubiak? Manning leaving?
Kubiak isn't a good HC.

IMO the success was due to PM being able to coach the offense on a whim. Kubiak is alright as an OC, but he NEEDS someone above him to say "no".

I honestly believe he had that with PM.

You know my feelings on PM, but he IS good enough to use a system Kubiak puts in place. Oddly, Kubiak..... isn't.

Kubiak will lead to nowhere but heartache. The fact that he and PM got you a ring, it will likely take you longer to realize that than it took for us to be rid of him.

Yeah I'm worried about that. Our D carried us to the ring. The offense was horrid and sluggish. Even worse this year without Peyton.
