  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There's lots of good websites.
yeah I know, I really don't have the discipline to sit down and learn online though... I've said it before on here, just think going to higher education would be easier for me to learn more science.

More expensive, more hard, but seems like it would definitely pay off. Iunno *shrugs*

OMM: I watched my first anime last night. Watched Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Saw all these posts about anime on here, avatars, etc. and decided to give anime another chance since I long ago decided I didn't like it. Figured if I was ever to get into anime it'd be superhero anime that got me into it.

It was cool... cool plot and liked the way it was made. Enjoyed it.

that's a terrific movie, but not exactly anime. Check out Sword Art Online or Fairy Tail and you'll see what I mean.

Whaaa, it was animated just like anime though. I figured that meant it counted lol. Voice acting and same type of scenes, I thought.

Are those two that you would recommend I watch? I'm looking for the best first anime to watch, to decide once and for all if I like anime or not. Is there a goto?

Death Note is a good one if you like watching mind games. So many plot twists that it stays one step ahead of you.

I second Sword Art Online (my favorite) and downvote Fairy Tail.

Also, if you liked Breaking Bad, I'd recommend Attack on Titan. I'd say they are pretty much the same as far as really violent, not many likeable characters, but VERY interesting and addictive. Both binge watches in my book

Fairy Tail is an excellent example of what anime is though. It may not be the greatest anime, but it is very much anime.

Also, Toro is in it:

Can I come over? ...... I'll bring homemade goodies....

Haha of course! I just made double chocolate cookies tonight but it looks like Travelers in the mood for some brownies. So if you have a good recipe that would be great!

@RayofSun I have a coloring book too!!! We could all make a huge blanket fort, watch movies, AND color in our coloring books....brownies would probably be good too.

This seriously sounds amazing and would be so much fun
I was so skeptical about adult colouring books at first because they are often so expensive. But then I was given one at the end of the year and it's a gift so it would be rude not to use it... besides it looks so pretty haha.

My new crotched caps arrived today, they are really nice!
Ooo what do they look like?

I'll bring brownies, and homemade caramel sauce and french presses for homemade lattes.

A french press? Lattes? Homemade caramel sauce?
This is the best grown up fort party ever! Seriously though, Caramel sauce wins me over every time. So. Good.
Also, Mojo I think you have everything someone would need for a great coffee house. You could call it the Blanket Fort, offer cool latte art and you'd be quite a hit!

I'm actually not the biggest coffee connoisseur, but I have seen a few friends use a french press and they look very official lol.

Oh I would beg to differ! Mojo's Cafe was quite the popular spot back in the day if I remember correctly. But you have to admit, it was missing the fort aspect. And I don't know if you advertised the brownies and caramel sauce. Just sayin'
