Sounds yummy! We had a very late lunch because I ran errands all morning. No one is going to be hungry for anything substantial and it's just me and the kids tonight...so I'm thinking I'll grab a $5 pizza. They will do cartwheels over pizza, lol.

Tonight is the beginning of the long weekend for our family and that always means movie and snack night. No dinner, and just an assortment of snacks laid out. Shrimp ring, pizza pops, popcorn, muffins, candy, puff pasty bites, feta cheese and hot peppers etc.

We love movie night. :) Well it is actually every Friday night, but on Thursday this week to kick off the long weekend.

It is raining and I am bored. Stuck in the house and it is killing me.

So, what are you making for dinner? We are having red beans, rice, sausage, turnips, cornbread and brownies with cream cheese icing.

I caught two rabbits in my garden last night, so I'm probably going to grill some rabbits tonight. I have some lemon slaw that I made the other night. I may try that with the rabbits.

Goes to show how long since I was in here.
Last night was "family cook up night". Now we didn't cook the family. Still working on that one.
We started in the afternoon when the girls and I cooked an apple cake. The girls did the before and after cake test. Mum was in bed cooking Baby #3.
The evening meal was a whole family affair. Mum cooked the scrambled eggs, the girls and I did bacon, sausages, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash-browns and vegy burgers.
Tonight the girls and I will do a lamb roast. For an account of last nights meal in detail you'll need to go to my blog.
