You eat grits with ham and red eye gravy . . . never heard of using sugar . . . salt and butter is good . . . also grating sharp cheddar cheese into them and you can also bake them . . .
My Wife came home the other day talking about cheese grits. That has been the only thing on my mind for the last couple of days. I guess I'm just going to have to break down and make some cheese grits.

Only had Red Eye gravy once(it was wonderful) but had it with a biscut. Grits to me,are exactly like Cream Of Wheat cereal,so if I ate them which I don't buy them, (my sister asked mom to when we were still at home,I would eat them with sugar AND milk,LOL!
Stop It!!!! You Two Are Making Me To Hungry!!!!
Cheddar?Ahhh grits, I say add butter, salt and pepper and grated cheese! Not that plastic cheese but the real deal!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GritsI never heard of "a grit" before. I only know "grit" as fine gravel or coarse sand
No, those are biscuits!!Well, Thats a surprise! I imagined they were some sort of bread-like stuff like bread rolls, crumpets or breakfast muffins
haha We have scones too. Biscuits are a bit more on the light and fluffy side!I'd call that ^ A SCONE
You know, I'm not sure I know what sorghum is exactly. Those biscuits sure do look good . . . anybody got any sorghum . . .
That's ok. Many Americans don't know what they are either!I'd have thought "grits" (being a porridge) was an "it" rather than a "them"
