Whata re you reading/praying for?

What at this moment have you been reading in your bible, and what have you been praying for??

I'll start, last night I started and finished reading James (not very long) and I have been praying for some of my friends who are having a rough time in their chrisitan walk, and also about my finances regarding my trip to Urbana.

I have been reading nad studing the book of Genesis.
1. The possiablity of two creations
2. the introduction of deception and evil with the serpert in the garden with Eve.
3. The concept that many think there were more than one flood and that Noah's flood was the last full earth flood.
And many many more things in just the first several Chapters of this book.
- What I'm praying for
1. To have a God centered life and mariage
2. Finaces
3. Finding a new home Church we are moving
4. To open my heart, mind and spirt to his word and allow me to be filled with him and his spirt so i can continue to grow closer to him.

Wow thats sooo interresting!! I did a term paper on that subject in my Intro to Christian Theology class. I got an A too!! hehehe

Those are great things to be praying for!! Ephesians is an awesome book too!! Yah I have reaad Matthew a few times. John is good too... I did a Bible study on it!

I usually stay In the psalms or proverbs for guidance, I need all the wisdom I can get from proverbs , and prayers I can get from psalms , God has always just really spoke to me through the Psalms....especially when I am in spiritual warfare which is 24 - 7....Praise Jesus for comforting me with the Psalms...

I read James just a few weeks ago. That's a great book. I just have been studying various topics lately, doubt.. unbelief, burdens, worrying.. thinks like that so I jump around alot.

I always pray for my church and my family. Also God would help me with needs and burdens in my life.

We need to remember we are the crew, the follower, with him as our foundation we can withstand it all.
