woobadooba said:Perfection of character.
mhatten said:Do you think that is possible, for us to have perfection of character? I assume you mean here and now, but wouldn't that make us equal to God?
woobadooba said:"With man it is impossible; but with God all things are possible." Matt. 19:26; Phil. 4:13
And I don't believe that this would make us equal to God. In fact, even Jesus said that we should be perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect. Matt. 5:48
mhatten said:I realize there are these scriptures but why would God make us perfect?
Because He is perfect. And He wants nothing but the best for His children.
Even Adam and Eve were not perfect.
They weren't? Are you trying to say that God made an imperfect man and woman?
Can you support this from the scriptures, or is this just speculation?
And what do you suppose being created in the image of God means?
maybe we should start another thread and discuss this. Would you like to do that?
