What would it take..

If you attended a praise dance performance, what factors in the dance would make you want to get up and dance with the dancers, praising the Lord alongside them?

Would you find it easier to do if the performers were alongside you, amongst the audience rather than on a stage?

for me it wouldn't matter realy...but then as soon as I hear music I start dancing in my head

most people would find it easier if the dancers were on the same level as them - not necessarily among them but not somewhere up on a stage....or at least I would guess so....

if they are among the audience then the audience could become part of the praise,
if it is on stage, then there is a separation, which is the purpose of the stage, and those who watch are the spectators.
the whole purpose of praise dance is to invite people to have a worship experience with God, in whatever way they worship Him.
