It must be so much fun being Mrs dad......
No. For example doing something against the clear teachings of God. In a Godly marriage it is not secular rules that have prominence.Everything your spouse wants should automatically be consented to by the other?
That would be a great marriage.

On the issue of God and hell, and relatives unsaved...it is off topic here, so I started a thread.

Did Adam and Eve have one?Out of curiosity, does a "godly marriage" require a wedding?
I heard that polls call all sorts of non believers Christians. I would take that with a grain of salt. At least they have some incentive to try...whether they succeed or not is another matter.Maybe this has something to do with why Christians have higher divorce rates than non-believers.
Evidence? of Adam and Eve's marriage? There is no evidence that they did.
I can find evidence of 2,000,000 Jews in the desert right now.Evidence? of Adam and Eve's marriage?
You guys can't find evidence of 2,000,000 Jews in a desert if we gave you their itinerary.
I was not aware of any marriage ceremony (in any religion) that includes cutting open the groom and making him a wife from his rib.For the record, Adam & Eve's marriage ceremony is recorded in Genesis 2.
Including the chapel God especially built for them.
I'm not surprised.I can find evidence of 2,000,000 Jews in the desert right now.
Neither am I.I was not aware of any marriage ceremony (in any religion) that includes cutting open the groom and making him a wife from his rib.
Then why this non sequiturI'm not surprised.

Then why did you say their marriage was in Genesis 2?Neither am I.

Maybe you should take a hike until you can form your thoughts coherently.
Ok. I would think the main thing is to unite before God...no? Paperwork is fine too, comes in handy. But let's face it, it isn't the paper that matters all that much...or wedding party. There is no evidence that they did.
Color me shocked, I agree with you. No ceremony is necessary. Nor is any given in Genesis 2.Ok. I would think the main thing is to unite before God...no? Paperwork is fine too, comes in handy. But let's face it, it isn't the paper that matters all that much...or wedding party.

Law of averages...we were bound to agree on something eventuallyColor me shocked, I agree with you. No ceremony is necessary. Nor is any given in Genesis 2.

Bingo. In fact I probably agree with unbelievers on most things. It is the important things that really matter where we diverge.I don't know if the law of averages really applies, but sure, no two people can disagree on everything.

Ha. I doubt you could agree earth is the planet we came from!True that, although why people agree will often be different. Aman777 and I agreed that there isn't an objective morality,
baloneyhe finds biblical support in that view
Some twisting scripture that happens to fit an opinion. OK.and I find just what I observe in human behavior to support that sentiment.
