Luke 16:19-24 answers where believers and unbelievers go when their bodies die.I have been to a few funerals. There is a body. What happened to the person in the Body. Rapture means to leave the body and we are all raptured when we die and we go somewhere. People have beliefs in nothing or nowhere, but they can not find or define nothing. There is always something. PERHAPS the rapture has to do with a nuclear war where a lot of people disappear all at once and good luck for those left behind. It is the 2028 election people should be concerned with. The world will never be the same after that.
And the Luke 16: 19- 24 makes known that all who died , from Abraham ON , to the the end of the LAW of Moses all either went to ABRAHAM BOSOM or when to HELL .Luke 16:19-24 answers where believers and unbelievers go when their bodies die.

You’re adding to Luke 16. That was just an example of where dead believers first go: Paradise (Rev 23:42-43).And the Luke 16: 19- 24 makes known that all who died , from Abraham ON , to the the end of the LAW of Moses all either went to ABRAHAM BOSOM or when to HELL .
But the SOUL goes to HELL , the spirit goes back to God that gave it , Eccl 12:7 .
And those that are saved by GRACE , our spirit does not GO back to God , WHY ??

Where dead unbelievers first go is Hades.
No dead sinners get tossed into Hell’s lake of fire until Rev 19:20. Satan is tossed in Rev 20:10. After that, the GWTJ occurs (Rev 20:11-15), and all who died in sin are likewise tossed.
The dead in Christ are ultimately raised in 1 Th 4:16. Living believers join them in being raptured to Heaven in 1 Th 4:17.
1 Cor 15:52 only aligns with 1 Th 4:16-17. So, before we are raptured, we are in our glorified bodies. We then definitely go to Heaven; John 14:3 proves that Jesus will rapture us to Heaven.

Hi Dan,Paul in 1 Thess 5:23 says , and may your entire spirit , and soul and body be kept blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ .
# 1 And we know that the BODY goes to the Grave
#2 And we know that the spirit goes back to God that gave it to you , Eccl 12;7 .
# 3 But where does SOUL go to at death ?
# 4 Paul is the ONLY that says where GRACE believers go when they DIE , 2 Cor 12:1-4 .
# 5 Just because you may saved by Grace , Eph 2:8 NO ONE GOES TO HEAVEN . Why ?
# 6 Because we are waiting for the COMING of Christ for all Grace believers to be resurrected , 2 Thess 2:1 Christ COMING // PAROUSIA .
# 7 John 3:13 reads , that NO MAN hath ascended UP to Heaven , but HE that Came down from Heaven , even the Son of Man which is in Heaven >
It is interesting , when a Grace believer dies , his SPIRIT does not go back to Christ that gave it , so read 1 Cor 5:1-5
