Your right, people will get used to it.zoziw said:Great point!
This name sounds a little strange, especially after refering to it as the Revolution for so long, but I don't think it is a bad idea.
We're kind of used to it now, but Nintendo DS didn't sound too good the first time I heard it either...turns out it is the best gaming machine I have bought in at least 10 years and I've bought quite a few.
Some are claiming that the name is a hoax. While I don't think it is, I still don't really care WHAT they call it. I don't buy a console for the little logo on the front, I buy it for the games. And if the Revolution/Wii has the NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Genesis, and Turbografx libraries available to it, plus Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, and other new titles from classic Nintendo franchises, then I'll certainly be picking it up.theartist87 said:I tell you what.. Every good Wii domain name was taken within 30 minutes of the release... I managed to grab 2 nice ones. This thing is getting a lot of free press. The name will be accepted (eventually).
I still won't buy the console though, at least I don't think I will.
Excellent point.ravendta said:Some are claiming that the name is a hoax. While I don't think it is, I still don't really care WHAT they call it.
