After Jesus spent so much time with the people in Love and Goodness, doing nothing wrong or worthy of chastisement, how did the people feel after they neglectfully treated him with disrespect? After they pushed Him, shoved Him, spit on Him, hit and beat Him, did all manners of physical attacks to Him, how did they feel or what did they think? Did they have any tinge of remorse or guilt or a feeling of illness for treating a human being the way they did, regardless if they thought Him to be a liar? He didn't curse at anyone. He didn't spit on anyone. He didn't get up in anybody's face and hold an argument war/battle with anyone. What could He have possibly done that the people hated Him so much? What could have been done that made the people so 'irritated' and 'spiteful?' I have a horrible guilt feeling when I have an argument with a friend or a neighbor or even a stranger on the streets, but to not feel anything wrong when I attack a total innocent person for him doing nothing?
