Do you have many Bible commentaries as well? or study Bible editions? Some of the notes can be very helpful.
I don't have a lot of commentaries on my shelves. I have software that I use called Logos. It has hundreds of Bibles, commentaries, letters and books written by the church fathers, devotionals, greek/hebrew lexicons, etc. It is very handy and helpful.

I must say I do like books of Spurgeon's sermons. Yes, on the computer it can be easy to look things up.

Yes, it makes it very easy and I appreciate the flexibility.

So do you collect anything else, e.g, jewelry, for example?
No, I am not much on jewelry and I doubt anything else I own would be considered a collection.

Yes, well with your comments about your experiences with earrings, I can understand why you would not really collect them (and it may be that you'll probably expect to be giving more attention to ink bodyart than to jewelry and metals, right?)

Yes, I suppose so and jewelry doesn't really fit with my personality anyway. I think it's pretty but I'm not very interested in owning it. I do like tattoos and I like to look at other peoples tattoos but apart from the one I will get eventually, Lord willing, I won't be collecting those either. I guess you could say I am not much of a collector.

Oh I completely respect that your current settled intention is to get one tattoo only! Regarding jewelry, I can understand why for example suitable earrings - if the person has usable holes - might be part of a sort of small minimum repertoire for appropriate occasions (such as simple, rugged studs or small hoops), like 2 or three fairly standard neckties might be also, even though they might not amount to a 'collection', as such. Of course, even with one reasonably sized tattoo, there do often accumulate related items and matters such as moisturizer, portfolio and artist/parlor resource databases, tattoo magazines, lists of tattoo conventions and ongoing relationship with artist for possible touch ups, etc., in short, things that a responsible tattooed person might expect or being expected to know or have.
