Captain Kangaroo! LOL! For those of you born POST Star Wars, it was my favorite kid show as a little girl. 
For more, uh, adult shows, I really loved a short-lived series called "Savannah". (an Aaron Spelling that was like a southern-version of 90210 or Melrose). I LOVED it, but it got cancelled naturally....

They have the first season at Amazon. I am pretty sure Gilligan's Island ran more than one season.
Another show that might be kind of neat to see on DVD is Rawhide. I think Clint Eastwood called Rowdy Yates the idiot of the plains though.
