I have often wondered if a "losers pay" system of allocating court costs and legal fees would stop these types of frivolous lawsuits. I am now firmly of the opinion that the new system of having not-for-profit donations go into huge funds that then are used for legal fees in lawfare to promote an ideological agenda has created a judicial system of the lawyers, by the lawyers, for the lawyers that exists outside of the actual outcome of the lawsuits. The goal is not to win the case but to drive the opponent into bankruptcy by out spending them.
