CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have a facebook account, 2 actually (one as me, one as 'DJ Blowdryer')
But i don't use it too often.
It's all rather shallow on facebook (at least, in my newsfeed)
At the moment i'm hanging around here on CF.

Facebook acct which I rarely log onto. Other than that it's just CF.. which I am happy I stumbled upon a couple months ago

Yeah, I'm not overly active on FaceBook either. It's mainly there to prevent the complete loss of contact with someone. The chat tool is handy as well.
Other than that, there's CF, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat. I don't use any of them much though.

I have a Facebook, my use of it consists of reading through my newsfeed once or twice a day and occasionally liking something. The same goes with Instagram, although I do actually post there a bit more. The only one I actually regularly use is Snapchat.

I recently deleted my Tumblr, so now I only have Facebook and Instagram. I'm considering getting rid of Facebook though. I do have a blogger blog, but it's solely about my health, and it's just so I don't have to call every family member after every doctor appointment I have, and so I can look back and remember what things were like at a certain point, because I have awful memory.

I mostly use Facebook and Instagram. I also use Tumblr, Pinterest, and DeviantArt (online art community), and then I have a Twitter account but I rarely use that. I only use it when I wanna creep on celebrities and whenever my friends are streaming on Twitch.

I haven't been on an enjoyable social networking site in years. Miitomo is amusing though. But it's very limited.
Actually... Youtube is technically social media. I use that one a lot and it is enjoyable.

Social Media? This site would be about as "social" as you'll get with me. I don't have accounts elsewhere.
I can't abide this "broadcast" mentality that services like Twitter and MySpace and all those others promote. People share too much. The masses do not need a voice.

I suppose I'm a stereotypical millennial in that I use most of the popular social media sites on a semi-regular basis. Facebook is for staying in touch with high school friends or friends from undergrad. Twitter is for academic networking. Tumblr is for exploring personal thoughts and for entertainment purposes.
