What sin do you struggle with the most?

I started this thread in the hopes that we could encourage eachother through the things with which we struggle. It helps to know that somewhere in the world, there is someone fighting the exact same battle you are.

The things I struggle with the most are: alcohol, lust, patience, anger and pride.

I would have to say gossip. Although I've gotten a billion times better with it , sometimes it just slips out !

Without a doubt, gluttony (w/food). Because it's something I struggle with every single day. I'm working on this with God's help and he's really opened up my eyes to it.

I stress that it's with food because gluttony can be excess of a lot of things.

im a 14 year old girl with no boyfriend who goes to a school mainly inhabited by boys so id say mine is lust......i dont know if talking to yourself is a sin though...i tend to be a bit 'crazy' at times and have random conversations with random objects such as my posters...is this bad?

Hi Rachel!

I used to do the same thing when I was your age (have random conversations with posters!). I think as long as you know the difference between fantasy and reality, you're a normal teenager. Just don't get too carried away with your fantasies. Then it's hard to tell the difference.

Have conversations with Jesus instead!

really thats really cool because none of my friends do and they call me wierd and i did think i was.....one of my friends messes around and say im talking to the devil and hes telling me to kill everyone...but i know hes joking it isnt really.....its just to get things off my chest when i get bored...its a good time filler

I think my biggest sins would be unbelief and disobedience. I know what He can do, and I know what He wants me to do, but I don't always live that way.

Mine: overeating (although I really believe that through prayer and surrender...for once not trying to do it all on my own...that the Lord has been gracious enough to deliver me from this problem...my appetite has decreased greatly for a month now! Praise God!)
lying...another one that the Lord is delivering me from, worry, selfishness (the Lord and I are working on this one together).

I deal with alot of different issues,but the one thing I deal with the most is my thoughts. If we don't get in the Word,He can't help us. I find it's very healing for me. Thoughts are so hard to control.....
I am also a real nut about exercising,which I find it can become a sin if you let it.

Definately worrying and swearing somewhat. Its hard to not let an explicit come out when I'm mad or upset at something, but I always try and say Im sorry after I say it. I've gotten better at it tho. Worrying I am a pro at, and its really hard not to worry, when all the "what ifs" come crowding in!

My struggles - Lust, Rage, wicked thoughts (uncontrolled), and profanity. Although ever since recovering from my backsliding, I've had much healing.

Fear, anger, unforgiveness and the idolatry of wanting people's approval (I didn't realize how bad this was in me until the Lord started showing me how strong this desire for approval is in me. Even as I type this I am hoping that everyone will approve of my post!
