Those who think this is the normal look after a car fire should check out this peer-reviewed car fire study. Yes, they measured the peak temperature at 900 degree C. BUT....no where do they mention melted metal. No doors missing. No engine blocks melted. Even the paint job did not burn away.

It's almost as though capitalism, without any controls to protect people from exploitation, inevitably leads to corruption and wickedness.

Well they say money is at the root of all evil. Its more or less cultivating the root of evil. But I wonder if there can be such a system that controls capitalism. I think neoliberalism also contributed and maybe that was an inevitable outgrowth. If private ownership and market economies are part of capitalism then you can hardly restrict people from being enterprising.

I think that is why we are seeing a rise in Marxism. Though I think many don't really understand what that entails. Maybe we just need more local cooperation for the good of the community. More social capital rather than economic capital. BUt we need to have a united belief in who we are and what is best for society. At present we are too divided.
