  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I had been playing MapleStory and other MMORPGs since I was 14. It's addictive but can also ruined your life. I planned to quit some of them now but I don't have much to do ever since I quit playing them. I feel bored that I don't have much to do in a day. I'm not in college at the moment. What should I do to have more things to do on my time?

Quitting addictions is not just about stopping, but also about replacing it with something else. I've found that MMO's will eat up all available time if you let them, so it might be easier to transition to other pc games that aren't online. Speaking from experience, I would go cold turkey on video games if you go to college, so it might be better to transition to something that is more productive. You could pick up a new hobby, join a new group, start to exercise more, or spend more time in prayer and reading the Bible. I enjoy studying apologetics, but there is a lot depth to the Bible, so much so that people can spend their entire lives studying it and still be learning new things. Many churches post sermons online and there are many lectures about all sorts of topics on youtube. There's also a lot of free books or classes that you could sign up for. You could start learning Greek or Hebrew or some other language. It is crazy how much information we have available to learn that's at our fingertips, but we spend all our time arguing with strangers on the internet and looking at pictures of cats.
