Of course. How narrow minded of me.I'm not sure I see "global warming", poverty, and aids as the world's major problems.
As I see it, the largest threat in the world, are a group of people set on the destruction of an entire race of people and any persons who don't also believe that that race should be exterminated.
There are some truly disturbing signs in the world, today. As I see it, the answer is to continue to seek to know Christ and to share Him with those around us.
I believe, as the body of Christ, we should walk in Christ and allow the Spirit of God to manifest that which He has called each of us to do.
He has a definite personal plan for each of us to follow, preordained steps for us to walk in, so I'd say, listen for His voice behind us and follow that path.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit
Who called you narrow-minded, margim? Only you.Of course. How narrow minded of me.

I wasn't attacking you at all, only disagreeing with you on what each of us thinks are the major problems in the world.
First, I don't believe in human-caused global warming. I don't think most climatologists do either. I also think it's a sign of man's arrogance to think that would could actually change the temperature of the entire planet, especially in such a short period of time.
Second, at least in America, poverty is as much about an individual's life choices as anything else. I'm all for helping people to make the right choices to prosper, and to help impoverished people get to the point where they can make those choices, but I don't see poverty as an immenent threat on the same level as the threat of a second holocaust.
Third, and again this is from an American point of view, most HIV and AIDS cases here are linked to specific, dangerous behaviors. The fact that the HIV virus can, for the most part, be avoided by behavioral choices makes it much less threatening to me.
no, I dont think think we should be alarmed, if we know the bible then we are not to be alarmed at others or happenings. we are to be wise and believe in jesus and be on the lookout for his return and love one another.Should Christians be concern about what is happening around the world and start to sound the alarm OR to live life as everything is still the same, the norm?
