Guess I'm speaking in a spiritual sense, which is yesterday, today, and tomorrow.Marriage is more than a "sex permit" it also allows for legal rights such as next-of-kin, and all that other stuff. Marriage is a legal institution, not a religious one, in today's society.

God didnt make anyone homosexual, in the beginning He made them male and female so that a man shall leave his father and mother and be united with his wife and the two shall become one flesh. No, that's not true. Motherhood is a choice, not something dictated by God. I have chosen to be a mother, but it has nothing to do with my "bloodline," or more accurately, passing on my genes. I have chosen to be an adoptive mother. Many women choose not to bear children at all. Women do a lot more than bear and raise children. Ones desires can take over and one can be overtaken by temptation which becomes more desirable.

I agree with you, except that some churches do perform same-sex marriages, and they should have that freedom. My church performs same-sex marriages.I think that a homosexual union with equal status as marriage LEAGLLY, but not within the church etc., should be formed for homosexuals. God instituted marriage as between ONE man and ONE woman, and thus it should remain. But our country isn't based upon the Bible..it's based upon freedom. And from a social standpoint, this is how I view the matter.

I don't think those that are outside the homosexual experience can tell those inside the homosexual experience that God made them a certian way. Its clear they are the ones with the inside experience and know better than those that don't have that experience.

That depends on how you view it. I believe it is right for my church to perform same-sex marriages, and I think it's wrong for churches to refuse to perform them. But they are free to refuse to do this if they want to.I agree that in our country they should have the right, but it doesn't make it right..
