CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm at college so I don't know what the refresh rate is here. I can't go into control panel because the Admin's have disabled it. When I get home I'll have to tell you what I run at on my home PC.

I can't stand anything less than 1280, but even my 19 inch trinitron can't handle 1600 all that well.

considering I am using a 64 inch plasma tv as my desktop, you dont' have my resolution up there.

I'm running at 1024 x something.. can't remember the number off the top of my head. I like having lots of desktop, so the smaller the stuff the better, as long as my eyes can still read it.

*groans* i hate 800x600... but by default, I design my graphics and layouts to fit that resolution so I don't have so many people griping about how something doesn't fit right and that causes them discomfort so they won't even view my site.

19 1600X1200 Flat screen. (Dislike LCDs and am not paying that much for a Plasma monitor)
had it smaller but for some odd reason I couldnt read my desktop txt so I had to make my res bigger,. I cant stand low res. It bugs me, especially programming, if I cant see my code, or if I have to scroll ..oooooo I hate that
