What?! No Model RC Airplane Forum?!?!

lol JK. I was wondering if anyone else is even remotely interested (no pun intended) in remotely controlled model aircraft? I've been flying for about 2 years now, and I'm pretty good.

Anyone?

well i am into plastic models aircraft mostly. but plan to gratuate to rc planes. (may be higher)

hey, my sons fly these models. they are really nice. They build there own models. they fly them and do videos of them flying the planes. they used to travel to regions to these shows and fly or watch them fly these planes.So thumbs up on this.

my dad was into that, and i have one complete plane that i've actually never flown... its a tiny bi-plane variation of an ugly-stick (smaller than 20 size)

to change the subject for just a minute. my dad used to run the small race cars run on gas. We had to have something to do and dad was as big a kid as we were.thanks you just reminded me of that.

my sons love to fly those planes that they make . it takes some hours to put them together. but they are worth it . we enjoy watching the videos they get just flying them around in our big field.

I don't fly but my husband and son fly almost weekly. They have the garage full of these planes, seven to be exact. Their favorite is combat by far. It has been amazing watching them build, my son built one from scratch, it's awesome, a profile. Before my husband gets rid of his trainer I will have to go fly with a buddy box, who knows maybe I'll get hooked too. Seems to be mostly a guy sport, don't know if I'd enjoy all that time around the picnic tables hovering over the planes and tweaking this thing and that before taking it up again. They do love it though and the club is a good size filled with a lot a good people. I think it's an excellent hobby, they say a lot of real piliots fly RC too. Machin-shin, you going into engineering or something similar? My son is.

yeah, its kinda like us gals making a new dress and going to show it off. theirs of course is alot more time consumming than that but, something like that. My son sometimes builds for other people. He also sells them sometimes.
