I've upgraded from SuSE 9.1 Personal to Pro and I'm seriously considering taking another big chunk out of my Windows XP partition. When I build my new box, I'm going 50/50 SuSE 9.1 Pro/Windows XP and use Windows for gaming only as SuSE has everything else I need. I might even subscribe to Cedega and dump XP completely. Still undecided.

Windows 2000 professional all the way, it is incredibly stable and hasn't crashed for like 3 years now. I also use Windows XP on my laptop, not worth using though, already crashed on me 3 times and I only had it for like a year.

I use Windows XP on both my desktop and laptop. I've yet to have either computer crash.

I used to have a desktop with Windows ME on it. Whew, was that horrid. It crashed every time I turned round.

Yeah. XP is tremendously more stable and usable than ME.

Me, from my poor understanding, was a quick answer to all the regular end-users being upset about Win 2000 being the next NT, and not the next 95/98
