What kind of dancing do you do?


I do hiphop! I want to do ballet though

I do hip-hop as well. I've been doing it for almost one year now and I love it!

When I was younger I was truly impressed by some ballet dancers who came and performed at my school. I told my father when I got home, I am interested in becoming a ballet dancer. Then he started laughing - essentially telling me my classmates would beat me up. But you know, being a geek, my classmates were beating me up anyways.

So you know the story. I never became a ballet dancer. But it's still wonderful to see them dance.

I took tap for awhile..still have my shoes...lol..it was great exercise.

I've watched people do swing and it looks so awesome! I learned a-somewhat-easy foot movement. I can't remember it.

That is for sure, Swing dancing is the bomb; even though I am not super great. I tried a stunt once, with a girl I was paired with and man I almost killed the poor gal (she was like my hight and I had to swing her all over the place).

anyone out there breakdance? i also like to go to nights where electronic music DJs are playing the music people call "techno." it provides a high energy atmosphere.

my mom took me and my friends to ballroom dance instruction this spring and summer.only 3 of us still going out of about 8.it's lovely,i love it.now i have to get my best male friend into it and he says no way madeline..never we'll see!!
I got the inspiration to dance after seeing Shall We Dance.
I want to begin Hula lessons but with school beginning I may have to wait.

I'm starting bollywood dance lessons in October!

I'm mostly a hip hop dancer because it comes the most naturally to me, but I also do jazz and I'm going to start taking a jumps and turns technique class to get me ready for my schoo dance team tryouts next year!

Did ballet for 11 years, contemporary dance for 7, Jazz for 1, tap for 3 years and some lessons (5) in oriental dance.

Want to start flamenco next year and maybe learn hip hop one day (did some at school and really liked it).

Should learn ballroom dancing too as the ball season is starting soon and my sister's got her ball this autum

I did bboying (breakdance) for about a year or two, quited a year ago cuz I couldn't keep practicing and injured my wrists...

But I still love it and wished I would have started earlier with it
