The Romanians, Bulgarians and Macedonians in this country are part of the OCA, arent they? Archbishop Kyrill is OCA bishop of Pittsburgh (GO STEELERS!) and Bulgarian Bishop of Toledo (GO ROCKETS!).

I don't know about the others, but this is not completely true of the Romanians. There is a Romanian (archdiocese I think) in the OCA but there is also a Church of Romania presence in North America. I've no idea how the situation came to be like this but as far as I can see both groups are completely happy with one another and there are no issues.

I am, of course, in the Orthodox Church of Romania, Romanian Orthodox Metropolitanate of Western and Southern Europe.

It is good that both groups are at peace with each other, but on the other hand it is bad that there are 2 different Romanian groups in the United States. The dividedness of Orthodoxy in this country is not a good thing at all.

Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, Diocese of Pittsburgh, under the omophorion of Metropolitan Maximos.
Just wanted to say that not all ROCOR churches are "unfriendly" to other Orthodox. Two of the ones we happne to have neighbours participated in the Sunday of Orthodoxy in one case their metropolitan came and we had vespers, and in the other one we shared also picnics etc. Their priests were friendly and loving towards all of us in the Greek parish. We are all Orthodox and we should strive toovercome our dissapointments and resentment toward each other, if we cannot correct our hierarchy for their wrong doings at least we the faithful should strive for unity.

God bless,
Philothei

Just to remove any confusion from people that stumble upon this thread, ROCOR established communion with Russia in 2007 (this year), and OCA and ROCOR are back in communion.

"With the reconciliation of the ROCOR with the Moscow Patriarchate in 2007, the ROCOR and the OCA have resumed full communion and clergy of both jurisdictions have concelebrated in multiple areas; one area of note is Seattle, where clergy and communicants of thirteen area parishes concelebrated within a week of the canonical reunification."
