What is your only comfort in life and in death?

That I am not my own,(1 Corinthians 6:19-20) but belong — body and soul,in life and in death (Romans 14:7-9) to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ.(1 Corinthians, 3:23 Titus 2:14)

He has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, (1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7-9; 1 John 2:2) and has set me free from the tyranny of the devil. (John 8:34-36; Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 John 3:1-11) He also watches over me in such a way (John 6:39-40; John 10:27-30; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; 1 Peter 1:5) that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven: (Matthew 10:29; Luke 21:16-18) in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. (Romans 8:28)

Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit, assures me of eternal life (Romans 8:15-16; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; 2 Corinthians 5:5; Ephesians 1:13-14) and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him. (Romans 8:1-17)

Blessed are the poor and those who struggle in this life, the reason Jesus said all these people were blessed is because this life has no comfort for them. When they die they look forward to going Home and being at rest, if Jesus comes tomorrow they have nothing holding them hear they jump at His call. Their bags are already pack so to speak.

The next world comforts me in this and I look to Heaven as Jesus said to make it bearable. The truth is this life is short and The Kingdom of God is forever.

Dear JM. Jesus died for me, now I can live for Him. In Matthew 22: 35-40:
Jesus told us: " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as you love yourself." Jesus points also out: " On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." Jesus wants my love freely given, and No conditions tagged on, How do I show Him? I keep professing that I Love God with all my heart, with all my soul, and with all my mind. I try to prove to my neighbour, ( all I know and all I meet, friends and no friends) that I love him or her, as my brother and sister in Christ: I pray for them and try and help them to understand the great Love which God has for them. On my own strength I would not be able to do much, but with God`s
help and guidance I hope to be able to help some, and that is a great comfort to me during my life and after-life.
The Bible tells us to " Repent," and to " Be Born Again." To shed and get rid of my sin-nature, and to become " Born Again," as God wants us to become.
Jesus our Saviour will always help and guide us: JESUS IS THE WAY.
Matthew 7: 7-10: is also a great help to me: " Ask and ye shall receive,"
I keep asking for Love and Joy, then thank God for it all, and start sharing it all, with all around me. To Love and Obey is a great life, and gives much comfort. I say this with love, JM. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
