Obvious TV has changed in my years..most shows when I was young taught morals, ect., even the sitcoms such as "All in the family"

What TV shows do you like?

How many really use parental control options?

Do shows with cussing, violence, sex, bother you..even if it's a great movie? I know some Christians that love shows, but grimace with they hear "GD", sex scenes, ect...but watch anyway because of the overall theme.

Overall, my favorite show of all time is....don't laugh,,,"Little House on the Prairie." I loved it growing up and we watch it as a family. Still, I watch many series on HBO like Big Love and loved Deadwood.

If you have a "line in the sand" that will cause you not to watch something, what is it and why?

Does Hollywood and TV really control culture?

I absolutely love "The Waltons." I can watch it all day. Takes me back to a simpler time and the way I wish communities and families still were. I grew up on a farm with family like that.

My favorite show right now is Eli Stone.

I've got a cuss box so it's hard for any cuss words to sneak up on me. I don't watch much on tv other than Stargate Atlantis and SG-1 reruns and Heroes and Eli Stone.

At the movies, I generally will only watch PG adn below. PG-13 and up have just gotten to risque for my tastes. I don't like being cussed out or feeling like a voyeur in someones bedroom so there's a lot of stuff I don't bother watching.

Eli Stone....never heard of it...I'll have to search it.

I think I'm older than you....but grew up watching the Waltons, Lil house, ect...back then we only had 3 channels and the kids were the remote control.

I wish they could put the Waltons and Lil house back on Prime Time. Have complete sets of both. Just makes me feel old....As a child growing up, we learned many good lessons from those shows.
