  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Jeff Deyo: good worship leader and songwriter

Caedmon's Call: beautiful lyrics and music

i also like stuff like The Andrew Sisters, Robert Randolph and the Family Band (really cool jam band), the Beatles, TFK, Demon Hunter, 38th Parallel

My all-time favorite is Resurrection Band.
But Tourniquet and Disciple rank right there with them.

sorry - but I can't stand Hillsongs. They don't at all inspire me toward worship. But Resurrection Band, Tourniquet and Disciple inspire me greatly to worship my Lord and Savior. They get my focus on His greatness and majesty.

I would have to say my favorite band is HIM at the moment... they are Finnish rock band.. This is the tricky part, many people who just look at the CD cover say they are satanic.. They're not. Just listen to them... they are truly a great band.
Any one ever heard of them??? if you have what are your thoughts???
