What is you dating experience?

I am fairly new to hanging out on the singles forum.
Just thought it would be nice to get an idea of the makeup of the regulars on this forum.

Myself - recently split.
We have known each other for over 20 years dating off and on.

Right now I rarely or never date. I've been in serious relationships in the past. The last one ended four years ago. Dated on and off a couple of years after that. Finally decided enough is enough last fall. Started my walk with Christ since December and concentrating on Him. I'm not saying I wouldn't date now, but this is where the unequally yoked thread comes in. If a wonderful Christian man came into my life right now, I'd consider it. Seeing that hasn't happened, I'm okay being dateless. It's nice, actually, but you get some "looks" from others or they feel sorry for you. They cannot understand that you'd actually choose not to date.

Well I wished I had a bit more, I dont whether not having a dear girlfriend ever, is spiritual blessing or a sad case. It was only when I got to 21 did i thing really about dating, by then i was a Christian and the Lord has witheld from me since then, :o( But I know He is faithful and so I wait on.

Currently I'm in a relationship. It has its good times and bad just as any other relationship in life. The lovey dovey stuff has somewhat worn off and we've gotten to a point where our friendship has become deeper, but sometimes I still get butterflies around him
Before him I had one actual boyfriend about two years previously and then I have dated quite a few guys. My longest relationship before the one now was 4 months. Now it's almost a year!

We split 2 weeks ago today after dating for 4 months. I dated a creepy guy (just once) and before that I had been seeing a guy I went to school with. Then, there was a dry spell of 15 years! I dated a guy off and on for 6 years through high school and college and several others during and after.

There is nobody in my past (including the guy from 2 weeks ago) that I want back. I'm ready for bigger and better things!

I'm really unsure on how to classify myself, so I said rarely/never. I have had 2 dates in the last week, but it's a relatively new thing coming out of a divorce... So I hope to see more dates.

I've only had one girlfriend in my life, and it didn't happen until i was a senior in college. Too few Christian girls where I live. They are all beautiful, and for some reason, not attracted to guys in church.

I put myself in the never or rarely date category. I went on hiatus after my last relationship. I was really hurt and I decided I needed to do some serious thinking about what I really wanted and praying about who or what God really wanted for my life.

I am still seeing my recent ex often, the thing is he doesn't want to get serious again at this time so I'm taking it just as it is, I guess. I know it's not a clean break. It has been on and off for the past couple of months. Other than him, I don't date anyone else and neither does he. So I placed myself in the dating category, I think!?
