Ex 15:

2 The LORD is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; this is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
Here, "LORD" wasn't exactly the tetragrammaton. YH was the short form of YHWH.

The LORD
יָ֔הּ (yāh)
Noun - proper - masculine singular
Strong's 3050: LORD -- the name of the God of Israel

Strong's Hebrew: 3050. יָהּ (Yah) — 48 Occurrences

Compare to the tetragammaton:
Strong's Hebrew: 3068. יְהֹוָה (Yhwh) — 6220 Occurrences

Both H3050 and H3068 were translated into the English "LORD" for most Bible versions.

"Yah", as a suffix, was often found in expressions of praise and worship, such as in the word "Hallelujah," which meant "Praise Yah."

It also appeared in various theophoric names, such as Isaiah (Yesha'yahu), Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu), and Jonathan (Yehonatan).

Yahuah=Yahwah
Yahwah
A note on the words hawah and hayah.
Quote from pages 217 and 218 of the Brown-Driver-Briggs. Ref # 3068-69 on page 217.
Brown-Driver-Briggs on page 218 states that, "Many recent scholars explain יהוה‎ as Hiph. of הוה equals היה "

הוה hawah / HWH is hawah.
היה hayah / HYH is hayah.

God's name Yahwah is two verbs that means (Life Began.)

Note that the vowels are all " a."
יהוה Yahwah
The vowels are "a" in the Brown-Driver-Briggs, the NIV Exhaustive Concordance, and the Strong's Exhaustive Concordances.

Hiph'il is a verbal stem formation in Biblical Hebrew that expresses action in the active voice. It's often used to indicate that the subject causes an action to happen to someone or something else.

How to identify Hiph'il

  • The Hiph'il form is usually indicated by a הִ prefix before the first radical
  • It also has a hireq-yod (or sometimes tsere) vowel under the second radical

Examples of Hiph'il verbs

  • הִמְטִיר: Means "to cause to rain down"
  • הִשְׁמִיעַ: Means "to cause to hear"

Hiph'il verb functions

  • Causative: The subject makes an action occur
  • Permissive: Similar to causative, but with the nuance of allowing or permitting an action to occur
  • Denominative: Derived from a noun, or a verb with a meaning closer to the noun of the same root

Hiph'il and Hophal
Hiph'il is the active stem, and Hophal is the passive counterpart. For example, "come" in the Hiphil means "bring", while "be brought" in the Hophal
