I think it is much more than concern for others... we are told to hate that which God hates and to abhor that which God abhors... I didn't hear or see that in this. More dosconcerting to me was the open ecumenicalism that he was promoting.

Should these things surprise us? If we are doing our duty as watchmen, then no they shouldn't. Scripture and SOP tell us of these things happening to the church in these end times. This is the beginning of the shaking process that will happen within Adventism. Polarize the congregation... Satan is using the age old tactic of divide and conquer. We must remain firm in our faith and our beliefs as SDA. We must search for the old paths and stand therein...

Thanx Contented for posting this, it is important that we as Adventists know what is going on... not to further disparage the church but to sigh and cry for her and to pray for the leadership and the people that are being lead astray.

I want to make it very clear that what is taking place at Loma Linda is against the principle's of Elohim. However, the church is not a city! Read your Bible it tells you that this city is Jerusalem. She and she is the one who have destroyed over the years Elohim's prophets including the greatest One Yashua!

But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also Yashua was crucified. Rev 11:2, 8 ​

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. I agree completely with ERC that we are to stay on the ship. However, we must speak and stand up for truth. When also must realize that the church has stop studying the Bible as a whole. Each individual person must read for himself or herself. When truth is reveal do not question it base on the church doctrines and traditions but from the word of Elohim. The Bible and only the Bible is our rule of faith. Just as the homosexual issue is starting to creep in so has the false worship. The whole world including SDA celebrate Easter which is a pagan term placed in the Bible by King James's scribes. We celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Valentine, and New Years, which are also a sin as gay marriages. There is no difference between sins. We point our one thing but accept another sin is sin. I hope that all will take the seriousness of what is happening, study, fast, and pray for the abominations that are taken place in our churches. Eze 9​

While it's still shocking to hear a SDA minister to defend gay marriage and promote ecumenism publicly, there is nothing new about the SDA church's apostasy. This has been going on for decades. It just that they have become more vocal.

With that said however, the remnant church is not the General Conference, not the membership book. It's the collection of individuals who are faithful to the message God commissioned those came of the 1844 Great Disappointment.

I still believe in our historic message. The unbelievers took over my church. I'm not leaving so they can have all to themselves, until they openly promote the Sunday sanctity and the immortality of the soul.

I am glad, however, that we still have wheat in leadership positions, one of those being our General Conference President, Ted Wilson.

That is what I believe as well the original message of truth. But the wise virgins will gain more truth in these last days.

I really can't say as yet. I enjoyed his sermon at GC last year, but actions speak louder than words! It is time for a revival of truth with open discussions of Daniel and Revelation and not Uriah Smith false views! It is not going to be the leaders of this church that will finish the work but the laborers which is the spirit filled laity and revived ministers!

Because they are stuck on the doctrines and tradiction of the Church instead investigating to see if these things are so. Thants Contented!

Same thing here. He said some great things in his inaugural speech. I have been waiting to see some positive changes cascading down. (But I don't believe in a corporate revival like some do.) In the meantime, the local conferences are still aggressively pushing their ecumenical agendas.

Exactly, if Ted Wilson were the change agents he says he is, he would be publicly reproofing this professor for the comments he made and making clear our position on these matters from a Biblical perspective. Silence from him on this is the same as an endorsement.

The only time a robber will inform you before he robs you is when he has the police and the judge...all on his side. What are you going to do about it?

That's why I think these people are so bold.

This is not just the tares taking over from among the wheat. This is 500 years of systematic counter-reformation in the making since the council of Trent to council of Vatican II.

The saddest thing about the Laodiceans (people indicted) is they are blind. They are unable to see their nakedness and shame. That's why the majority of the SDAs are in denial when told of these things.

Well the problem is very simple many do not question the church doctrines with the Bible like the Jews in Yashua's day. We accept what is taught us and think we have everything we need for salvation. We are hung on the Sabbath Commandment and forget all the others! Plus we do not keep the Sabbath day holy, not in church and then try to throw it down others throat. Live right and others will follow!!!

We like the Jews are teaching traditions and doctrines instead of Bible truth. Poor EGW she is regarded like Moses in the wrong way. She is not nor has she ever been a prophetess (I wish they even realise that's what you call a female, not a prophet). She made a mistake and then corrected it later to say firmly that she was called to be a messenger.

Next the jewelry issue, Daniel, Joseph, Judah all wore it and I have never read in the Bible that jewelry was a sin. But the costly array of gold and diamond jewelry is because that is idol worship of yourself. Now the Bible also include, clothing and the type of the braided hair that was worn. It was highly design for show like hair dos are today. When you go to an SDA church you better wear your sun glasses because it is a parade of show it all. From the glimmer, glizz, furs, hats, even diamons on the stockings and shoes. Oh yeah the clicks they are the only one who are selected for office!

Then the sermons are for show and pompness, saying the same old thing. Not preparing people for a battle that's up ahead. This is all found Rev 3:13-18.

Finally, if you dare speak up against the enbedded doctrines of the 27 beliefs, look out you are considered a devil worshipper. If you say to many here, take another look at Daniel and Revelation and some of the other of our beliefs (not the Investigated Judgment). Does it measure up with the Bible or its it just doctor feel good? Well I am going to continue to speak out, and I am writing articles. Because I am crying and praying for the abomination that has come into Elohim's church with the message. I urge every one to get out their Bibles and go over the message and prove it. We need to throw away some of our belief about the papacy who is not beast but the false messiah. Learn who the beast really is. Realize that all the story in the OT will be repeated in the last days that's why they were written. We need to also stop calling this church the remnant too!
