What is Trinity Blood about?

I'm asking because it looks pretty good (I just love the graphics), but I haven't been able to see a full episode of it because (*points at denomination icon*) I just end up laughing my head off whenever they make a mistake.

My first impression of the show was that it was about vampires, and since I'm not a big fan of vampires (yet... I've been wanting to read Dracula for a while, though) and there was a fanfic I wanted to read the night I discovered the show, I didn't pay much attention to it. Now I've seen glimpses of it and I haven't seen any vampires at all.

Um... no, wait. The show's on while I'm writing this and I just peeked. There are vampires... I think. Moving on... :o

What's the plot? Is it worth watching? Does anyone even understand what I'm rambling on about? And is it supposed to be a comedy, or am I a bad anime fan for laughing at the show? Hehehe... I'm laughing right now! Somehow, I suspect I shouldn't be laughing.

honestly, i really don't understand what it's about. well, i just have no idea what the plot is. the setting is after some sort of armageddon that screwed up the world and there's vampires, vampires that feed off other vampire (that's what the main character is), cyborgs, witches, and nuns. the main character, father nightrode (sp?), is normally really happy, giddy, and caring but he can get really dark and creepy when feeding off of other vampires. even though i barely understand the show the graphics are just so awesome that i can't stop watching it.

anyway, I really liked it and I really hope they make a sequel, but as it was with witch hunter robin, I'm sure it won't happen.

I think it was 24, and that's what the Anime News Network says too...so I'll go with that. How is the dubbing of the show on A.S., I watched it subtitled about a year ago
