I'm working on a project, I am most interested in what the bible says is rude, but I will happily listen to anything you have to share about rude.

Hint as to why the question is presented. I Corinthians 13 says that Love is not rude or behave unseemingly depending on translation. So what is rude behavior? Unseeming behavior? Any thoughts?

I would define "rude" as a person who does not care how they make another person feel. Rude people don't care if they hurt you, are crude to you or are just plain "unfeeling" toward you or even sarcastic.
Rude people will make you feel uncomfortable in order to elevate themselves due to their own insecurity (put someone else down to make themselves feel important).

The dictionary says this:
"Not polite, unkind"

To be unkind to someone is synonymous to "rude".

I think of Yeshua's love and how kind, tender and sympathetic He is. He was willing to put my need before His own. He always listens to me and has never said one unkind word to me or made me feel uncomfortable to be with Him. He truly treats me as He would have ME TREAT HIM in return. Another way of looking at it is this: He treats me as He would treat Himself.

"Yeshua is kind, Yeshua is not rude, Yeshua is patient, Yeshua keeps no record of my wrongs, Yeshua is not self-seeking.." and so on.....

I agree thanks. That helps, but one more question follows. What defines rude so that we cannot justify our actions. For example different cultures have different rules of what is rude, so if I make a mistake, that isn't rude because I didn't know it was against your rude rules. So how do we identify it in such a way as to remove the most possiblities of justifying our selfish behaviors? Any thoughts?
