What is Leviathan?

It seems to be a very large and dangerous creature but the Bible does not specify which one. I suspect it may be mythical and perhaps based on a few fossils.

What is Leviathan?

IN the book of Job, "Behemoth, and Leviahan" are "Types" of the personal problems that Job had, and that the Book of Job deal with God's efforts to expose them to Job in order to bring him to repentance (Job 42:6).
"Leviathan" is a type of Job's intense "Personal Pride", and "Behemoth" is a type of Job's tendency to do things in HIS OWN POWER, instead of relying on God.

Nobody knows. I do know this much... what we Christians call "the Wedding supper of the Lamb," the Jews call (in ancient writings) "Feasting on Leviathan."

@JackRT I read your post... I agree, of course. Not sure I agree on it being mythical, though it could be an abstract word being used to depict something else? But your thoughts on "Feasting on Leviathan?"

I wish they had an I disagree button.
