  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one created God. He just always has been. He is eternal which means he has always existed and always will exist. He is not created.

God is perfect, he cannot sin, and he does not (in fact, can not) make mistakes.

These are hard concepts for us humans to wrap our minds around. These are the kinds of things you have to accept on faith. The Bible points to much evidence that they are true, but they are very hard to understand. God is a mystery to us while we are on earth, but the mysteries will be revealed when we get to heaven.

This is a very hard explanation to non believer.
Most of my non believer friends will always like to ask me about things that I can't answer because I only accept it without really get the truth. I learn that we should "TURST and BELIEVE"

My friend has asked me. Who is the creator of god. But I told him that no one is and do not try to think of christian in a very complicated way.

I am very honestly to tell him that alots of things teach in the bible i will just acccepted it without questioning. But he was very disagree with me because he didnt believe in bible. We believed bible is true story but he didn't believe it because there was no prove saying that bible is really come from Jesus words.

He cannot accept the way we accepted christ without really finding the true and questioning.

I told him god is just like my boyfriend. God is really the best and prefect person in my heart because HE will never cheat me and leave me.
But my friend again said that we shouldn't treat god as human. Am I wrong in treating god as a human? My friend very hate when we pray because he said if now i pray for getting a good result in exam but when eafter exam I didnt get good result then how true is my god.

How can I answer non believer if next time i facing the same question?

Well, being as God is an intelligent and just being, He has a will of His own. So He can choose to not help you with your exam if He doesn't want to. Sometimes He says "no" because we need to grow in our discipline.

He's going to need to ask for more concrete tests than help on a test. But he's got to be willing to get to know God on God's own terms, not his. God doesn't waste His time on people who are so arrogant that they wouldn't believe Him no matter what He did for them.

God is better than a human. He deserves reverence, but He also chooses to relate to us in a familiar way. How would you treat Jesus Christ if He was physically with you?

That is correct.

Well, God isn't human, but the Bible gives us human pictures of God -- it tells us God is like a father (and we are His children) and God is like a husband (and the Church is His bride).

Read the Bible and good Christian books. I usually recommend books by C.S. Lewis.

I suggest that you go though the bible and learn the concepts and understand the greater majesty of our Lord. To simply believe without question puts young christians in a dangerous position where they do not have a firm foundation for their faith.

For example, just believing blindly that Jesus came to eath and forgave our sins would neglect true reasons for his coming which is his love of mankind, his need to justify the fathers wrath because of God's justice needing satisfaction, the suffering christ endured on the cross when God the father turned his back on his own son when the sins of the world fell upon Jesus and jesus asked why have you forsaken me. A thourough understanding of the bible is needed and blind faith is just not good enough.

For an answer to a non-believer that God truly exists is that fact that something that doesn't exist couldn't possilby change your life. As a christian we develope new ways of acting when we accept Christ, from cursing less to being kind and compassionate more often. Pretty soon our secular friend begin to feel more and more unconfortable because of the changes in your life and they will ask you why you are diffetant and you will answer becaus of Jesus Christ.

Christ alone has the power to change human lives for good and thorugh this the fathers glory is revealed.

Non believer will not believe of concepts. I know the concept. We got to learn concept by just believe and trust it.

Just like 1+1=2..The concept is like this so we have to accept the fake.

God, Jesus and holy spirit is trinity. Yes, we can explain this statement why 3 of them are 1. But, we didnt experiance it ourself. what we knew is just concept from the bible. For non christian is really veryhard for us just to explian the concept from the bible..THey need to experiance themself the exist of christ.

God is, was, and will forever be.
Nobody created God. He is sinless and perfect, loving, and kind.
He loves you enough to send the most important thing to him, his son, to die for the sins we commited, so that you and I wouldn't have too.

Will god sin or make mistake?

Following are 3 websites to help answer your first question:

http://www.christiananswers.net/q-aig/aig-c039.html
http://www.gotquestions.org/who-created-God.html
http://www.carm.org/questions/god_origin.htm

I know it is disappointing when someone simply cannot see the truth, no matter how plainly you say it. But remember, our job is to share the truth with non-believers and it is the Holy Spirit's job to enlighten their heart. The best thing you can do is continue to pray that their hard hearts will be softened by the Gospel of Christ, then they can believe on Him.
