God exists in Himself and needs nothing from us, so there are no deals to be made.

God is creator of everything. Everything created belongs to God.

Nobody comes to the Father except through the Son. He expects us to honor His commandments and be faithful. If we are living in Christ we have His Holy Spirit with us. He meets all of our needs. Do you read God's inspired word to man the Holy Bible?

I understand your point but I'm not making a deal with God. I'm simply saying "God I am in confused." or "God I really want this and I know it doesn't go against your moral views of it but I trust in you that you want good things for me in my life but I am still scared."

With that view you are on the right track. God wants us to lay all of our problems to Him and He always listens to our prayers. You are exactly correct that God wants good things in your life. We must learn however that something we may think on our own is good and we want it, might not be what God desires for us.

Keep praying to God and keep a dialog going with Him over whatever this "confusion" or "want" may be; the Holy Spirit is there to help us speak with God. Be patient and when God tells you an answer and you recognize it as an answer, then abide by the guidance you receive.

God answers all prayers. Sometimes the answer is no, sometimes yes, and other times the answer is wait. God bless you in your prayer life and walk with Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.

Yeah, right now.

I won't get into it here for some reason but as far as making what you seem to be saying is essentially a deal with God, for some reason I've never gone that route.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, matter of fact seems there were a few of those made in the bible, just a personal choice I guess. I just try to live right, do as he wants, get better, and pray for that thing. It's biblical we are supposed to expect what we pray for, or know it going to happen. Christ says we are to see it that way, and basically settle with the fact it will happen, but though I'm trying, I find that very hard to do. So then I naturally wonder if the trial is actually a test or his teaching me to trust/not worry, or something along those lines

I think I don't do deals because I would hate to break it. I also tell him and realize myself, no matter how things work out, I'm most likely going to do for him what I'm going to do anyway, so not much point in deals.

He's got me no matter what, so...

I was away from home one weekend and had called to check in on my mom, unfortunately she'd taken sick and there wasn't anybody around to go sit with her...all I could do was pray and ask the Lord to send someone to help my mom since others weren't around.
At the time my mom was getting in-home during the week.

Answered prayer...Low and behold, the Lord sent the agency's nurse to my mom's place!
Here's how it happened went down in the natural... the nurse wasn't due to visit until the following week but she had some stuff come up that'd conflict with the scheduled visit, so the nurse decided to go to my mom's place and do the evaluation on the very day she was feeling very poorly.
