I don't think you can answer that way (The Lord thy God) , because the answer would tend to vary from person to person. If a mason were wiccan then Gaotu would be mother nature. but I do understand your personal view that Gaotu is God. I still think it's wrong to allow The Lord God to become equal with anyone elses god.

Thank you all for replying to this?I haven't had a chance to read but a few replies,but I belive I have heard enough information from this site and others to be convinced? I didn't feel things were right in this office?I And I don't mean to offend any of you who have replied and claim themselves or family members to be Masons but I am taking the stance that their is something wrong here.I know that these people hold very powerful positions all over the U. S. and that money is the key here.Enough said.I am not going to allow any amoutn of money to lead me the wrong direction , I'd rather go without. I am not interested in getting into this any further, but am interested in the discussion here. Especially since I use to belong to the Catholic religeon.(And this is not to say that there are not Catholics who are saved. As I told Jeffery Lloyd , the manager cusses in this office? Also I was invited to a membership meeting this coming Wednesday RIGHT AT THE SRINE MEMBERSHIP HALL??!(gee what an honor??..)?? Praise God for you all? I don't want these people ot know me at all? I need prayer. All year since I made the decision to walk ALL the way with the Lord I have had so many curve balls tossed at me? Amazingly eccentric ridiculous events? I can't believe that I just worked for a Satanic foundation for a week and 1/2? But I am learning how deceptive evil is? Shriner's hospitals are run by the masons . They provide free help for the children in the burn units and for bone disorders. It is so deceptive. I know that United way will do the same for those in need and is not run by SATANIC FORCES??..Please pray that I can get this information across to a nice Christian friend Ida who has been working for them as well for the last two weeks. She is s very faithfull lady and I don't want to see any wrong to come to her. Or see her reputation ruined.

I am a bit confused by your post. The Shriners provide free hospital care for tens of thousands of people and this you see as Satanic in nature ?

I would hope you could learn a little more about Masons , not just listened to the web sites that do not like Masons.

Can I tell you this, I had aleter yesterday from the guy who looks after the biggest anti Masonic web site . His wife he tells me can walk today, after being in a wheelchair for many years. The Shriners found out about the problems she had , and made her better, they asked for nothing in return. Now thats what I call Christian behaviour.

We ought to have meet a Mason week, you will find we are your uncle , your cousin, your next door neighbor. not some freak group from another planet. Were ordinary guys just the same as you.

You have it right God is awesome.

I don't believe that the personnel in the Shriners hospital are members of the Shrine temples , Mason's whatever.Just as I am not a mason but was hired to fund raise and represent the shrine hospital. There are many sects, that sugar coat good for others for self gain? What is important is if their beliefs are deviating from the word. I believe that God sent his son in form of a man to show us the way. To connect us the spirit something we can't see that is not tangible this is why we have to live by trusting God and the word ? Not just by what looks good and feels good. but by the WORD. It is written not to be wise in our own eyes. God has his ways and his ways are not man's. I take every word seriously in the bible and it also says there will be acurse on anyone who adds or subtracts to the Word.Anyway as I said in a private message to you, I ahve not read more than 2 pages of these replies yet, but am finding this very interesting and i am not trying to be judgemental.

No one has been able to get supported evidence of this accusation.

Forget facts lets just look at the Logic.

Bill joins Masonry, Christian boy . Decent sort. goes through each of the degrees always goes to Church, obeys the ten commandments . Raises a family . Has children. Four kids.

Bill now gets to be Master of his Lodge, a few years later gets promoted. Starts going through other degrees. After 25 Years he gets to 32nd Degree.

By this time Bill, who is still going to Church. Raised four kids, has eight Granchildre, All Bapitsed all brought up in the Christian Faith.

Bill gets a letter, Hello Bill. Would you like to become a 33rd Degree Mason. Bill writes back yes great. he gets sorted for the ceremony of being accepted as a 33rd degree Mason.

We get to the Lodge Doors, Bill goes in , walks to the Master of this Lodge. He is then told from today on you can forget the family , and your Faith you now worship Satan.

OK you tell me what would Bill say.

FTR, I'm not saying that all Christian men that are masons are deliberately involed in the satanic. I think a lot of men just might not be aware of the totality of what masonry and it's founders believe and teach. I thought I had a book by a former mason but I can't seem to find it. My mom used to be married to a guy who was a mason and she was contacted by some women who wanted her to be a part of the women part of it, cant' remember what it was called but mom said the group referred to themselves as a coven. What does that say?

And just how much time have you spent talking to any Masons about this? I took the same approach, going to the anti-masons and their websites first, then after encountering "a few good men" in antimasonic chat who were Masons, I saw for sure that I was looking at things with a decided bias.

Let me challenge you on this point: you take the same old beaten path that I see all nay-sayers take, of hammering on "beliefs" and "teachings." Yet no Mason I have met yet gets anything out of anything in Masonry that even remotely resembles the antimasonic mantra of satanic worship and evil intent. Show me from the actions of Masons where any of this is playing out. The Masons that I have known in my life who were Christians have had the most powerful influence for Christ in my life that I have experienced, and that influence continues even now, when most of these godly men have gone on to great reward.

Lynn, that group, to which I belong, is called Order of the Eastern Star and we don't refer to ourselves as "covens". I agree with you, that if we did, I might find that a little alarming myself.
