I suspect that God would have had other means in store to get the drama going that requires the solution he so desperately wanted to establish as the greatest offer to his creatures.

Sure, assuming they were free to disobey god. Given enough time, they would eventually make the wrong choice.

I think so. I believe we are all like Adam and Eve born spiritually and phyically alive and like Adam, we all sin and kill ourselves spiritually, (Ezekiel 18), and if after we have killed our own soul, we turn to being loving as Jesus commanded, then God recreates us spiritually, and we are again alive both spiritually and physically.
