I know it's a silly thought on a Saturday weekend, but I like this song, and I was listening to it today. The lyrics suddenly grew a double meaning as I listened to the words.
What if, the song TEAM by Lorde, is actually lyrics from a fallen one, from the perspective of a fallen angel?

We live in cities you'll never see on screen - (yeah, they live in another dimension, so of course their cities cannot be seen by us)

Living in ruins of a palace within my dreams - (their failed attempt at taking over heaven and God's throne, their vision now reduced to something that they can only dream of)
And you know, we're on each other's team - (comfort each other in that they work together, all of them having rebelled against the Most High, and now are on the same team)
Im kind of over getting told to throw my hands up in the air -(maybe this demon is tired of the "do what thou wilt" doctrine, of doing whatever they want? i realize throwing your hands up in the air is a popular thing in music for decades, but humans were not the first beings who threw their hands up in the air as they rebelled without a care... the fallen angels were first)
Im kinda older than I was when I rebelled without a care (reference to when they rebelled in heaven?)
