i used to work with some friendlies at an animal hospital. last night it came to my mind to search for one gal in particular in hopes to play a surprise on her. the plan was to find out where she works now, buy a dog mask with some hair, then go into her place of employment, say my name was ralph, and among other things ask her to cut my hair. maybe receive some luvin' and get patted on the head. i dunno

alas, after checking with some people they don't know where she works. i tried calling a few groom shops in the general area but noone employs anyone by her name. i ask if it's God's will that i find out where she's at so i can do this thing. i know she would get a kick out of it.

My last exam is tomorrow. It's Civil Procedure and it's going to be a tough exam. I'm also burned out by now.

work has been pretty mundane at my job. i've asked God to give me another "Jesus adventure". to give you a general idea of what i'm talking about i'll relate to you guys this: my friend needed time off from his job due to some stress. in order to have an legit excuse, his job said he needed to put himself in an mental care facility. the plan was to go with him into a place and take some people in Jesus' name. (in other words..go in get them healed, converted, etc.) keep in mind that we are credibly sane people

well in order to do this i had to have a reason to put myself in with him. so i called a crisis hotline and told them how i was hearing voices, seeing things and stuff like that. long story short - they told me to go to the ER which i did. i stayed there for about 2 or 3 hours while they unofficially evaulated me. bottom line was my friend backed out and i got stuck between a rock and a hard place. eventually i had to force my way out of the enemies clutches (a doctor who didn't know who his real boss was). my phone's address book was compromised. the devil got ahold of all my friends numbers so i had to end up calling a few people and letting them know of this and pray for them.

basically what will happen in these adventures in unknown except to say that His kingdom is furthered(people get saved and delivered), our faith and obedience through sufferings are increased. God gets the glory.

specific prayer requests: that God will give me at least one person who is willing to team up, that multiple people will have their stories written in heaven on account of where the Lord sends and what He plans to do.

Update:

He's more stable now, but his left bone flap is out of his skull (they removed it to relieve the pressure caused by the brain swelling) so half of it looks indented. Tentatively, they're putting it back in Jan 5. He's moving his left side a lot, but not his right side very much. He's mumbling, and gets out the occasional understandable word. Consensus among the hospital staff is that he's making progress.

However, his brother collapsed at the hospital, hit his head, and is just a few rooms down. This is very hard on their dad. Their mom actually died from the same condition which caused all this years ago. The brother has a wife too, who could use prayer.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever prayed for me. I really appreciate it.

I have been sick and in some sort of pain for about four months straight. I'm finally feeling better. I feel healthy.

Like I've said I'm not looking forward to the Christmas holidays, it just makes my sadness worse. I think its the reason I became so sick these last few weeks. CF is my only escape from my lonely, isolated world for a few minutes and then its back to my lonely existence. I wish I didn't feel this way.
I am completely lost and don't know what to do. My life seems to have no direction.


Thanks again for your prayers

i met a young lady at work the other night named bianca. i was reading my Bible during break and she plopped down across the seat from me. she started asking me spiritual questions and went on to talk about her life and said she talks to God but wasn't saved yet. i had a limited amount of time she share with her. at the end of the night i gave her my Bible and told her to read the gospel of john and ask God to reveal Himself to her.

due to other circumstances i think they let her go. but that's okay. one plants, another waters, yet God causes the growth/gives the increase. this girl is truly seeking and is close to the kingdom. God has already told me she is going to get in. i don't know if i'll have the privilege to bring her though. that's not important however.

your prayers are needed to move the heart and hand of God in this lady's life. thanks

i got pulled over for speeding months ago. i can't remember if i paid the ticket or if there was even a summons to court for it. i just called the sheriffs office and they said they cant give fine or warrant information over the phone. that i'd have to appear in person.

chea, right. like i'm going to show up honestly and let them throw me in jail when i get there. wisdom and direction is needed. thanks for praying.

Update: The brother is out of the hospital, the dad is in the hospital with pneumonia. My friend is beginning to speak again with great effort, and he is moving more. But he is clearly frustrated and does not like being bedridden and wheelchair-ridden. Which he needs to be since part of his skull was removed. Tentatively he's getting that part back on Jan 8th, but that's some time away and he wants to be active. Pray for him to continue to heal, and to be patient until that time rather than restless - an escape attempt got him from the rehab center back to the hospital, but now he's back in the rehab center.

Wonderful Update!

So, my previous prayer request was for my sister. She went snowboarding, fell, and after being x-rayed was brought to the emergency. The X-ray didn't look good, and the doctors not only found injury from this time, but also from previous falls she's taken. There was a lot wrong.
However, after a lot of hours in the hospital she was found to have a compression fracture that is quite stable. And so it just means 6 weeks of taking it very very easy. Not a lot of twisting or jumping around and trying to keep still. While it is sad she is injured, this is really the best case scenario and so far from their original diagnosis. Sooo Thank you all so much for the prayers!! You're all wonderful
