What holiday is this please?

I remember this time last year I was going to celebrate a Jewish holiday with our children, but the children ended up being away from home, so we weren't able to. It had something to do with staying up all night studying about religion. Does anyone know what this is? I can't remember at all.

No, you're not missing something. I wrote "this time last year" and you took me a bit more literally than I meant. "This time last year" means last Spring.
