Since I had a change of mind and heart from symbolic to a literal communion I have noticed an interesting change in me.

During the period of 6 or so years I became quieter, not that argumentative and the compassion for others really became stronger.

No, I am not walking on water. ^_^ But compared to how I was, I am better. :)

What effect do you think Communion has on us?

Thanks, :)
Ed

I agree with you.
I also notice a difference in myself when I receive communion as often as possible.
I know, there has to be reason we are told to partake as often as we get together.

Forgiveness of sin.

Edial, you and I have talked about this. Spiritual healing; the forgiveness of sins for sure, but physical healing too for those who have faith and are repentant; the Bible also speaks of negative physical effects for those who partake in an unworthy (faithless/unrepentant/not discerning the real presence).

Maybe that's what it is - spiritual healing.

That must be what my unsettled feeling are about. Due to work every other weekend and some travel, I have not received communion many times at all this year. I do know that will be changing soon.

Thanks for this.
Look who's here! Hi!
