A few things lead to my username.

1. I like bananas
2. When I was in kindergarten we sang a song called "Going Bananas" and I'm a sucker for nostalgia :p
3. The main reason = I joined this site at a time when I was really stressed out and I thought I was going bananas ^_^

Paradoxum is the Latin of paradox. I thought the world can be stranger than it can seem at first youthful glance, and it's a cool name IMO.

This was my username on Digimon Battle Online that I made up on the spot when my usual name was already taken.

RIP DBO, you are missed.

I used to watch Digimon till series 3... I never played that, but I tried to play an older Digimon game. I could never get my digimon to evolve into the correct champion. :p

I actually never watched the anime until recently. I was too enthralled with the cards, the digivolvers, and the games :D

Sounds like Digimon World 1 was what you were playing! That game had so many hidden variables that I never got the right things :(

The anime was the best bit... at least for me when I was younger. I had cards too. I personally liked Digimon more than Pokemon.

Yeah, it probably was. It was so random how things evolved... I don't think I got far in that game. :D

Digimon was one of my favourite childhood shows. Gatomon is definitely the best (IMHO) :D

haha always loved watching it as a kid! Patamon was my favorite...that's the only one I remember mind, it's been some time. ^_^

I still remember much of Digimon. :D

haha someone has a good memory! It's a shame Digimon went off into obscurity (or did I just outgrow it?) It's nice reminiscing about it though...what was your #1 favorite tv programme as a kid?

well, the lily is my favorite flower and think it is a beautiful name. When I originally came on Christian Forums, I was very depressed, so the zeroes were meant to be because I was worthless and felt worthless. why I didn't capitalize it or anything. now it is a symbol of how beauty and Christ won out over the enemy and his lies. I still have those zeroes at the end of my username but they are just that. maybe a little james bond, hahahahaha, but I feel like the beautiful lily instead of a zero now. I am grateful. :)

Haha well Typoe99.. It was my Runescape user name as a kid and it just kinda stuck over the years. I wasnt very knowledgeable at the time and wanted to come up with a name that had something to do with computers and something medieval. So typ came from the word type and was the computer part and then for some reason at age like 10 or 11 or whenever it was I thought Edgar Allen Poe was from the medieval period so thats where poe came from. The 99 was random. Now its just a funny pun having typoe being a typo of typo haha

Or, why did you pick the one you have?:)
The name "Shiranui" comes from the main character's name in the video game "Okami", originally released for the PS2, but now available on the Wii and the PS3. Fantastic game that didn't get nearly enough advertising or attention thanks to Capcom being stingy as all get-out. The 117 is a kind of obscure and random number for me, but I had to tack on a number to my name, and I think it was mentioned or shown in passing in the movie "Top Gun".

That was the video game that prompted me to get on the internet and talk about it because I loved it so much. Went onto another game forum (Super Smash Bros. Brawl), met up with some guys, one of whom posted the song "Frontline" by Pillar. That song got me to become an actual Christian again and start learning about the Faith, one thing led to another, and six years later, I'm more informed about my faith than I ever thought possible, and walking with Jesus Christ as best I can.

So yeah, I can owe the start of my faith journey to a video game. God works in mysterious and very unconventional ways.
