My first name is edie (feminine name - all long e's), my maiden name starts with B. When I was growing up everyone called me edie b, gradually when writing it out it got shortened to edb (just the letters - also, my name is not eddie which is masculine).

I'm a big Detroit Red Wings fan and the 19 is Steve Yzerman's jersey number. No other Detroit player will wear the number in the future and I chose the 19 to recognize his contribution to the team for the past 22 years (19 as captain - which is a NHL record and may well be a record for all sports).

I use the same username for all the forums I participate in. Then I don't have to stop and think, "ok - what's my log-on here?"

The name I chose came to me after reading the book of Song of Solomon, coming to the understanding that tho it it is a love poem about a real human love relationship, and all that is loving .. it shows a commitment in marriage as a reflection of God's love. It's also known as an allegory of God's love for Israel and for the church.

I used to work in a jail as a nurse. When I would call the key runner (the officer that let me out of the infimary) to deliver medication to the inmates I would say "Hi, it's me, Sue. Let me out! Let me out!" The response would always be "Mesue, is that Chinese?" Silly, yes, but after a while everyone at work started calling me Mesue. Working in a jail, I've been called way worse.
