President Donald Trump says he was “being a little bit sarcastic” when he repeatedly claimed as a candidate that he would have the Russia-Ukraine war solved within 24 hours — and before he even took office

When the current president was running for this office, he made
many outrageous assertions, that (I assert) no thinking person could
believe.

As it turns out, the candidate did not really believe them, either.

As it turns out, many who agreed with the general policies that the candidate
was speaking, are a bit shocked that the current president does not seem to
be honoring his campaign promises, and is off on some other ego trip,
following some OTHER agenda.
