Do you use a computer, typewriter, pencil/pen, notepad, writing paper?

I mainly use a pencil and notebook paper, and if it's something that I'm going to keep I will usually type it out on wordpad.

I'm stuck between deciding to use a mechanical pencil or a regular pencil. I like mechanical pencils because they always have a sharp end, but I don't like always having to use the erasers on them because they wear out so fast. Do you think it would be less tedious to just use a number two pencil and have a sharpener nearby?

I mostly write with a pencil, on unlined paper...I'm not sure why, but I prefer it to lined paper...and then type it up on the computer. Anyways, the pencil you use is probably a matter of personal preference. I don't know if it's easier either way, so long as you have an eraser nearby in any case. I prefer using a regular pencil, but I guess it depends on what you like using best.

I prefer ms word for writing, but when there isn't a computer nearby I'll make do with a Mead 5 star notebook (has to be those) and a very specific brand of pen (they're about $3 each).

I have journals and notebooks - I try to always keep one with me - but for the most part I like to work on my compy. MS Word. Easier to write and edit, and I don't need to keep track of a gazillion notebooks.

I mostly write on the computer--MS Word as well--but if I'm desperate and can't get on, then I'll content myself with a pen and paper.

*shrug* I'm not too picky. When I have the urge to write, I'll use whatever is available. If it's not on paper, I'll use MS Word because it catches grammatical/spelling errors pretty quickly.

I have dozens of notebooks I've received as gifts, I just lose them all so quickly, whereas I can save a file conveniently on my computer.

I use a fountain pen, because it runs so smoothly over the paper, but still forces me to write in an ordered sequence.
